Over the course of our relationship with you, we process personal data that you have provided. Such personal data may include the following categories: location/country, e-mail address, name, company name, department name, job grade, industry sector, job title, IP address that you access from, sort of access device, access history of website, and/or watch history of video contents related to the event.

There are cases where we might provide customers' personal information collected for pre-event registration to the Hitachi Social Innovation Forum 2024 JAPAN to third party companies in the following way.

In addition to the cases specified above, Hitachi may provide personal information third parties without the consent of the person in question in the following cases.

  3. Cases in which it would be difficult to obtain the individual's consent and in which it is deemed necessary for the improvement of public health or the promotion of child welfare.

Cases in which the provision of personal data is necessary for cooperating with a state institution, a local public body, or an individual or entity entrusted by one in executing the operations prescribed by laws and in which obtaining the consent of the person might impede the execution of the operations concerned.

Glossary

*1 Cookies:

Acquisition of Access Logs

There are cases where we may use personal information provided by customers or personal information that is collected and recorded automatically on the official website of the Hitachi Social Innovation Forum 2024 JAPAN and other websites provided by Hitachi, for the purposes described above. Automatically collected or recorded personal information includes access log information of customers. Access log information might be linked to customer information when it is recorded, but we only use the information within the scope of the purpose of use of personal information.

Handling  of Personal Information Collected through a Demonstration at an Event Venue

At an event venue, we may temporarily save customers’ personal information, such as surveillance camera footage and biometric authentication data, on a hard disk when demonstrating a solution or a product. Personal information collected in a demonstration will be physically deleted after the end of the event. We will not reuse or share such information.

About Providing Personal Information

Customers' disclosure of personal information is voluntarily for registering to the Hitachi Social Innovation Forum 2024 JAPAN.
However, please understand that without providing this personal information, you will not be able to register for “Hitachi Social Innovation Forum 2024 JAPAN”.

Your Rights

As a data subject, you may have certain rights under applicable law, including the right to:
